Dr. Mom

It's official. Mom will receive an honorary doctorate from Hebrew Union College (HUC). We got the notice last night. Mom almost tossed it out with the junk mail. The ceremony is scheduled for May 2006.

Congratulations mom. We're very proud of you.

Dr. Martha-Mom, Judah, Issy, Benji,

That is almost as good as the postive update on Judah's condition.

May you all continue in the right direction.

I follow all the comments and least 2X a day morning and night.

Love to all

Ellen

Doc M, Doc J, Issy, Benji,

Happy Birthday to all and congratulations to the new Doctor in the family.

Hard to believe, another Jewish Doctor. I've never heard of that before.

Be well & be strong.

Mike L

p.s. -- Martha, I really enjoyed hearing some of your family stories the other day, especially the one about Seymour & you father taking the boat upstate.

You know, I always suspected that people who work at Hebrew Union College are among the brightest, most perceptive people out there. ;) Now I know it's true, and I also know this means that you, Martha, have been a dedicated Jewish communal professional, serving your community with commitment, for 25 years. What an achievement. Clearly everyone is so very proud of you, and I'm sure Judah can feel the pride and admiration flowing out of this blog. Dr. White, meet Dr. White!

Cograts Martha,

You did it the right way, first you got a job, and then a doc.
