Shabbat Shalom

Shabbat is entering the environs of the City of Hope, Judah is resting after a day of dialysis, blood exchanges, xrays, blood draws and encouraging words from his medical team. The Shabbat mantra is small steps, steady steps, all leading toward a refuah shelma, (Complete recovery).

Shabbat Shalom,

M

Dear cousins,

Thinking of you on Shabbat and hoping that Judah has a restful weekend. I'll be leaving Vermont on Sunday and will be home on Monday night, so I am sending early birthday wishes to Judah the lion-hearted. May the coming year bring him strength and health!
Love to all, Diane

Dear Whites,

I logged on, heart pounding, after being away for a week and am relieved and pleased to hear Judah is holding his own.

And Dr. Martha! What an exciting, well-deserved honor. I'm proud to be in the same book club as you!

Love and hugs, Barbara
