A new morning

The yellow sunlight is peeping into Judah's room. Thelma, his night nurse kept his blood pressure under control, ( swings from 85/45 to 114/53 and everything in between) his temp cool , and in general kept him comfortable. Blood gases are being drawn now and soon Dr. Forman will round.

I read and reread your comments to Judah, I think it helped stabilize his blood pressure. Getting Judah well is a team effort. The medical team is doing their part and you have been stupendous in your outpouring of love and support for Judah and for all of us. When I started to thank one of doctors for his help he said "the thanks I want is when he gets well".

With much love and appreciation,

M

Hi White Mishpacha,

While Lisa K is out of town for a well-deserved vacation, I continue to pour over Blog entries and comments multiple times each day. And despite your pain, you must feel so loved and supported by these wonderful friends and family members. It is truly sad, yet warming to witness these events, and I feel priviledged to know Judah and his family. Please continue to feel supported and know that people are lined up to help in any way they can.

B'shalom,

Michael J.

dear martha,

howie returned from a 2 week business trip to israel and I filled him in on what's happening down there at the city of hope with all of you. he joins me in sending love, courage and sustained strength to all of you. tell judah that we talk about him, his fight back to health, when we "sit in our houses and when we walk by the way" and wish you all a continuing day of sunlight and steps forward to good health.

ko-ach!

Yeah Judah...

You were right. The Dodgers are a mess just as you said they would be. They continue to lose, Milton Bradley & Jeff Kent are fighting, and Derrick Lowe was just caught messing around with Carrolyn Huges, the hot sports anchor for FSNW, both are married! Crazy huh?!? It's become a soap opera. Kind of makes the Lakers look boring.

Two more quick sports things...

1. The Angels are still in 1st place...although they could still use a bat

2. HOCKEY STARTS IN 3 weeks!!!

Feel better Judah

Good morning. I wanted to share this and I hope it makes sense. Judah and I would drive Lewis crazy at the end of every close basketball game with a simple debate. We argue that we would rather give up a basket (and the lead) so that can have the ball down by one with a chance at the last shot to win the game. We know it flies in the face of practical strategy (thus Lewis turning red in disgust) but we like the thought of our team having control over their destiny. Judah – you got yourself the ball. As Moses Malone would say Mama it home.
- David
