Today I shut down Judah's phone. I finally got into his mail, and of course there were only a few hang ups, wrong numbers and one from Dr. Ahmed, his nephrologist. All of his friends numbers were stored and saved. I also visited his storage shed, having to break the lock because I didn't have the key. I can see Judah in each of the boxes, the couch, the TV. This I can't empty out yet. It will stay.

Truly a difficult time. But in the end they are just material things. They will have other meanings for others. Like time travelers we move to an unimagined future. BG

Dear Dear Martha -
As you continue to take inventory on your loss, please let the inventory of care that surrounds you occupy your attention more and more. Think most of what Judah would want for you now - the love you devoted to him dedicated to other outlets. Not for our sake, or for yours, but for his.
Not a day has passed that you, Judah and your family have not been in our thoughts, best wishes and prayers. Love, Paul & family
