Are you there?

Hi All,

Judah has asked several times for stats on this website. Blogger does not provide this as far as I know. If you are reading this blog, please post a comment, a shout out, a hello it's me. Tell us where you're from and how you found out about this.

Even if you're a friend of a friend, we'd love to know more about who's here.

Mom and Jude are debating about whether or not she's going to spend the night. He's still fragile and anxious. He says, "I have to be so much stronger than I am. I want to be better." Lungs are still weak and he's on the verge of a return to ICU. They are watching him very closely. For now he is on solid bed rest. No visitors. No talking. Mara was here today and they even turned away a pregnant lady! Mom and Judah said she looks great and very happy.

I'll be signing off for a while and leave you all in the very capable hands of Benji, the other writer of these blogs. I'll be in NYC for several weeks, back end of August. --AAW

Hi Judah,
It is 11:40pm NY time & wanted to check up on your progress before we retire for the evening. Just returned from an engagement party on a 4 1/2 acre home on L.I's gold coast. It was quite an experience & sight to see. The house was filled with mouldings from Clare Booth Luce's NYC ap't, furniture & paintings from all over the world each with its own special history.

We hope that the next time we visit your blog you will be feeling better.

Love,
Aunt Marsha & Uncle Robby

Your darling brother gave me this site address, and now I visit every day.

Wishing you well,

Hi Judah,

You know who the shiksa is.

Glad to know that Benji will be writing. Haven't heard a peep about him and his amazing work in ages. Still think he should get over here and make a film about Georgia: conflict zones, troops going to Iraq, pipeline issues that initially got the US involved, or daily life of a country aspiring to EU membership. Or, you can just film me. :)

Keep your spirits up Judah. Your strength, determination, and positive attitude are truly an inspiration. Think of you when in doubt or facing difficult circumstances, and know I must persevere--like you.

Much love always,
Shiks

Hi there Judester,
It's sunny and beautiful outside. The sky is blue and clear with much less humidity today than the past week (although it's still too early to determine what the rest of the day will look like). Even a patch of what looks like harmless clouds can suddenly trigger a thunderstorm like you won't believe. So, I carry an umbrella every day everywhere I go (like a mad woman) because you just never know when it's going to rain.

Well, I hope you're feeling better this morning. Would like you to know that I check on you multiple times a day (wouldn't want to leave you messages each time in fear that you may laugh at how many times I check your blog a day...

I'm back next month so hope to visit you. Until then, keep strong and a great big hug to you and your family for keeping us updated.

Much love, Cindy C.

Hi Judah,

Good morning. It's Danielle and Judy - we check up on you all the time! Dad is out of town so we had a sleep over - mom, Alex and me. Mom made Rachel's fish balls while Alex ate pizza, ice cream (with magic shell) and played Nick Jr. on the computer...Alex brought over a DVD and both my mom and I could not figure out how to work the DVD player (that is so embarrassing!) so Alex figured out how to play it on the laptop. It was a scene - the three of us in bed - Alex in the middle with a copmputer on her lap.

My dad says hello and asks about you everyday - he is at band camp in Humbolt...I keep asking what he is smoking but he says nothin'...

Mom is coming out today and I am sending you a big virtual hug. We miss having you around and hope you start to feel better really soon.

Love, Danielle + Judy

PS - I know there are a lot of people checking on your blog but even more ask about you.

Judah--
I'm out here in cyberspace reading every day about your progress. Many thanks to the White family for keeping us updated.

As you might imagine, not much new is happening here in Kansas City. A rather surly family of wasps has taken up residence in my house. I suppose I will have to address that issue at some point today. Yecchh.

I'll be waiting for the next update on you, Judah! Stay strong.

Love,
Nancy L.

Judah,

Glad to have spoken to you this afternoon. Reading eveyone's comments on this website (I'm new to the whole blog thing) reaffirms to me what a special guy you are and how much people love you. It's been a while since med school and hearing all of the voices from the past (ex Doron Kahana) makes time seem so fast.
Please get better soon so I can come see you and we can bring baby Hever over to visit you too!
looking forward to seeing you and your family soon,

Jeremy (med school- Sackler baby)

Hi Judah -

Dave, Zoe and I are three of many who read the blog daily. Dave calls me in the morning and we read it together at work and we check it together in the evening once we get Zoe to bed.

I also know my Mom, our sisters and Dave's parents also review the blog on a regular basis. It's rare for us to speak to our families without first hearing "How's Judah, when I read the blog this morning it said ...."

Dave expressed your condolences to his family today. They say thank you and don't feel like you have to call - just feel better. Tomorrow will be quite a day.

Feel better and stronger. We are anxiously awaiting for you to feel up for company.

xoxo,
Stacie, Dave and Zoe

Hello Juda,

I hope today will be a good day.

Last night we went over to Steven Weinstein's house for dinner. All the roommates had their families over. Larry and I had a lovely time. Amy and Dvir even came for dinner. Steve lives in a 100 year old house with 7 roommates. The has no air condition. We all sat outside in the heat under an umbrella. It started to cool off around 5:00. My mac and cheese was a big hit.

Happy Birthday to Martha.

Linda sends you her best wishes for a full recovery.

I will call tonight.

Love,
Bobbi and Larry

Hey Judah
I have posted a couple of times, but just wanted to let you know that I check your progress all the time. I used to get updates from the Kod, but then she sent me the link and now I check in every couple of days. I am always touched by the incredible amount of love and support shown by the posters and by the resilience you have shown, now and for the past several years.
As much as I love this blog, I look forward to the day soon, when it will be unnecessary and I will be seeing you at dinner parties and BBQ's. Keep up the good fight, Judah.
