He's Up!

Sunday Morning - They woke him up this morning and pulled out the tube. He's alert, talking and reading the newspaper. Very surprised to have lost a day. Still in ICU.
More later. AAW

So glad to hear you were extubated (and quickly too). Now you can get back to watching movies -- we forgot to add Animal House and the first Vacation movie to the list.

Good Morning Judah!!! We thought about you all night and were delighted to hear that you are awake and alert. I'd think twice about reading newspapers, though. The news is enough to make anyone sick. Hope to speak with you some day soon.

Mac, I'm here in Boston meeting with some clients. They took me to the Sox-Yanks game. Baruch Hashem, the Yanks won. They almost lost too. Based loaded, no outs in the bottom of the ninth with Joey Cora up. Joey hits into a DP and then Johnny Apeman Damon grounds out. Hooray! Tomorrow I daven at the Brighton Young Israel. Last time I was there, they flew through kaddish. Praying for you everyday and looking forward to the day we can see the Yankees play the Angels again. --Joe

Awesome Judah. Although why would you read something so depressing as the newspaper? You should pick up a copy of a Calvin and Hobbs collection. In fact, I'm gonna send you one tomorrow!
