The Overnights

Judah has had a good night. He shows no signs of fever. His signs have been stable throughout the evening. His oxygen needs are still quite high at 60% O2 concentration, but no higher.
His blood pressure is 109/42 and his heart rate is at 100 (normal for him).
More later.

Dear Judah,
I talk about you much to anyone who is about me.
You are so kind, considerate, humble and brilliant.
When you were part of our team, we knew you could come up with creative solutions to our crazy set up. I had to remind you that you did not need to spend extra time to rewrite the protocols because these protocols were already approved.
You also made it a point to get to know each patient. You somehow knew who was a fighter and wanted to be in our clinical trials. We often were in unknown territory and with your enthusiam, encouragement, hope and determination helped these patients through some difficult times. Your comment was that we always needed to try everything because we never knew who would respond to certain treatments and we did have amazing outcomes.
I see you now as one of these patients, fighting with us through unknown territory . Judah, know that we are all there with you and with your awesome family.
As you know, each improvement, however small is important to us all.
We have the "girls" with us. However, I will have 2 days without the girls next week and will visit.
I wish I could carry a tune to sing you a song, but will just talk to you in rapp.
I did make a mistake on one of my blogs. We celebrated your 29th and 30th birthdays at UCLA.
In summary, we talk about you constantly, we think about you all the time, we pray for you continually (you know the characters we have doing the praying..the best is Lucy's mother), we love you always.
