Judah Visits

Last week Casey was born. At his bris, he was given as one of his hebrew names, the name of Yehudah, for Judah. It feels as if I am watching a prism of light that was Judah being dispersed among his family and friends. First is Daniel, Mehri's son , Daniel is Judah's middle name, Then Jack Judah, David and Stacey's son, next is Grayden Yehuda, my great nephew, and now Casey, Steven and Lisa's baby. I cry each time, of course, but the glow from the remembrance dries up the tears.

Another light in the prism, was the announcement that perfect stem cell match was found among those who registered on the National Bone Marrow Donor list. She is a remarkable young woman who will undergo the procedure. Hopefully, her match will be successful.

Last week I went to a board meeting at a temple in Santa Clarita, and was greeted by a young woman who had gone on Ulpan with Judah in 1982. She remembered Judah, and the trip, and many of you who went on it. It touched me to think that she remembered him so vividly, and once more its an example of how many people Judah touched. More light from the prism.

Keep those memories, and stories coming. Roni sent me some photos. I know I promised a photo album some time ago, if it is something you want please let me know, as it will be the impetus to do so.

Thank you for registering to be stem cell donors.
