July Fourth Hangover

Judah is feeling back to his usual self today. Today he got the go ahead to start trimming his fingernails. This is a good thing, as even Howard Hughes would have been jealous. He just trimmed one and it bounced back and smacked him in the forehead.
Judah had a busy couple of days with visitors. Thank you to everyone who came. I know it bothers him that he can't be a better host. He tires so quickly. He really perks up when we read all of the posts from his blog. He has heard from so many people that he hasn't seen in years. Even if he doesn't have a chance to respond to you, please know that we read him each and every response.
Judah wants to go for another walk this afternoon, so hopefully we'll have some more news and pictures a little later today.

J-
Hopefully I'll be done with this cold by the end of the week and then I will get out there. Get yourself some safety goggles for the trimming work. There is plenty to talk about but nothing I can wirte. We joined the Zucker's for the Westchester 4th of July parade - who would have thought it would take more that an hour and a half? My favorite act/float/walker was a teeanager dragging a donkey on a leash with the card- a donkey pulled by a democrat paid by a republican.
Stacie and Zoe are doing great and we all miss you.

From David Kukoff:

I just read the part about you grumbling about the singers in your hallway. As the impresario behind the Moron Tabernacle Choir of 1982, all I can say is have a heart for bad singers, man!

Glad to see you on the mend. I'll be out this weekend, if you're up for it.

When you get home you have to watch Directv baseball because my project is finally on-air. Remember its the MLB Extra Innings package. I would love to hear your feedback. I will see you this week I promise.

All my love,

Dr. White, honey,

I know you wonder why I haven't been first in line on this blogger thing, but it is a public forum and I have had to give serious thought to my name? alias? handle? what is it called? Anyway, I won't keep you today, but now that I have named myself (taking my cue from t.s.eliot regarding the naming of cats) you are sure to hear more from me.
Meanwhile, I expect more good progress. Love, Mrs. C.

Judah,

I had some people over last week for a small bday bash and served water with cucumber, just like at that spa, which name escapes me. It was a huge hit. I didn't offer massages though. Maybe I would've gotten better presents...

Watch out for those fingernails. They can take an eye out. It's all fun and games...

Hey Judah,
Careful - don't put your eye out.
I'm planning on coming over to COH this weekend. I'm going to a birthday "tea" at Huntington Gardens on Saturday, and I thought I could continue east to Duarte afterwards. It's been so long... Maybe we can take a walk? I'm happy that you are feeling better.
Love, Tamar

Dear Judah,

One of the best things about this blog is that no one expects a personal answer. We are just so happy and elated that you are taking those baby steps towards full recovery.
You have very warm regards from mama Simy, Noam and Yonatan. They were all gaga over your progress when I told them, especially mama Simy who kept saying ay, ay, ay, elohim yishmor oto.
She is doing well, still climbing two flights of stairs and making her cookies. She sent some for you. When will you be able to eat them?
Much love, Rachel
