Moving Tubes

Judah tolerated the tube moving procedure fairly well. While the Doctor's intention was just to move it to relieve pressure against the chest wall, it did manage to drain a lot of fluid off Perhaps this will help.

Visitors include, Helen G, and Bob S. CJ and Dalia regaled us with New York stories, and Janet and George flew in from NY, Josh K and Anne not only visited Judah but Josh was doing Mesheberach (Get well) rounds on various people he knows here.

Josh also helped hang a mezzuza sent by Brandy's Mom El. The other night Andrea and Gay also visited,(I forgot to mention it).

Thanks for your blogs.

Judah -
Hopefully that’s the trick for the lungs - in the meantime - I can't find the Del Amitri CD (Stacie - I will find it) so I will listen to some of your other favorite music (or maybe it was just some of my favorite music that I made you listen to). Also per Kadish and others I will put together a poker game - I will loan you the cash for the buy in - bet for you and we will see how you do. And how about we split the winnings (after Zoe's and Stacie's cut)?
Your friend - not necessarily your poker partner.
- David

The Dodgers took two of three from the Cubs and are still in the hunt for the NL West (a.k.a. the NL Worst). This despite still being many games below .500. If they can hang in there, so can you!

Judah,

That's great new about the procedure today. Be strong.

Just a quick comment on some other blogs. I can't believe Nemetz can't find his Del Amitri CD. Although his storing of CDs is unorthodox (in and around his car, his room, office, old office, old apartment....) there is a method to the madness. By the way Dave, I think I have a Cake CD of yours in my car from 4 years ago.

As for the Cream & the Clear fantasy baseball team, no worries. Barry Bonds is coming back, and so are we. We're in perfect position for a run at the championship....next season.

Be well everyone....I'll try to get out there for a visit soon.

Hi Judah et cie- I've been religiously but silently checking the blog lately and I thought it a good idea to let you know I'm still (and always)sending my thoughts and prayers. Stay strong. Much love, Ilene W.

There's a practice in grade schools (at least on the East Coast) of having kids make a paper cut out called Flat Stanley and take it to well-known landmarks. In that vein, I've been taking the Mac to places I go, particularly synagogues I travel to. Today however, I took the Mac to the U.S. Tennis Center. While the beemah was different than the Young Israel of Scarsdale, midway through the matches I looked up and asked Hashem to heal our boy. Come on Mac, get better so we can joke about all of this next year. With LOVE, Joe

Judah -
The day doesn't start or end without us thinking of you and pulling for you to get through this. You and your family are a constant inspiration.

As for Judah tolerating the procedure well, we all know Judah is a very tolerant person, but this is truly testing the limits. We can hardly wait to hear you cranky and irritable, and no one will EVER complain about it again.
Love and good wishes,
Andrea
