Morning Edition

Judah took off almost 6lbs of fluid in the past day. Dr. Foreman came in and said he thought Judah is looking much better today than yesterday. Judah's drugs are still making him manic and weird but what can you do? Oddly enough, there is little emphasis on letting him sleep. The drugs keep him so hopped up that he can't sleep. Well, he sends his congratulations to our friend Yonatan Zevit who just got engaged in Israel.

Good Morning, Judah!
I hope you were able to get some rest and are more comfortable today. I have a question to ask (and you might think it's a bit odd, but you know me...) Could you ask your blogmaster/blogmistress to post pictures of your mom, Benji, Issy, and Pixie? I feel like I know them in a very limited, Judah-centric sort of way but since I haven't met any of them, I have no idea what they look like. Of course, I'd like to see you in the pictures too! Your family is such a huge part of your life and I'd like to put their faces to my prayers.

Fondly,
Stephanie G.

Yes - let's have some family photos. (good idea Stephanie G) It's time for Martha, Issy, Benji & Pixie to all take a bow & a big hurray from us all for the great job they are doing in taking care of Judah & keeping us all up to date on his progress.
Love,
Aunt Marsha

I'll plagiarize a bit and say:

Judah, Dr. White, honey, please be better. (Thanks Mrs. C!) It seems that things are not quite right with your lungs yet, and I (and everyone else who checks this blog multiple times daily) want everything to be just right. You must know, yet it's worth repeating, that even as you sit in your room at COH a bit looney on steroids there are numerous people around the globe thinking about you often and willing your ailments away.

On another note: My little brother, who inquires about you often, will be pleased to know that his engagement has been announced on the internet. Thanks Benji ;-)!

Love, ZZ

Hi Judah,

It was great to see you the other day - sorry we kept you up and talking. I hope you get some sleep, but in the meantime I thought I could send some DVD's with your mom. I have access to a great library. Do any of these sound interesting?
PBS Series on Baseball 1840's - mid-1990's (25+ hrs)(it is the Ken Burns baseball documentry)
Bladerunner
Team America (uncut version)
James Bond
The Office
Indiana Jones Movies
Hitchcock films
Do you want comedies? Classics?
What do you like? I will put a package together for you. I have access to lots of movie except porn...
I hope you are feeling a little better today.
Love,
Danielle

Dr. White, honey,

When I was on prednisone all I could think about, except eating, was why do people bother w/ hard drugs? The euphoria and flying on the pred can't be beat.
Love and stuff, Mrs. C.

Dear Benji,

Your writing is great. Thanks for taking the time to keep us all posted, and in such an interesting way.
Thank you Judah for the good wishes for Yonatan, I will forward them to him. Noam met her family last night and liked them.

Judah, get well soon. Keep being your strong self and heed forward.

Much love, Rachel

I've been getting the nicest "mad frenzies!" from Pixie every evening. She's thrilled to see me, but as soon as I suggest a walk, it's under the table for Pixie. She comes back out as soon as I put the leash away and (of course) walk toward the kitchen. She knows I'm a sucker.

Janet, do you want to set up an evening Pixie-sitting schedule? Please call me on my cell, (310) 795-1456.

Mazal Tov to the Zevits!

Judah, take good care of yourself. You are in all my prayers.

Love, Rina

Hey dude,
It's been so important to me to read about your progress. I wish I could get there sooner to see you. I'll give you a head up when I figure that out.

I'm getting overwhelemed with work right now. And the Berkeley chic is history. Story of my life.

Can't wait to see you, bro.

- Josh

Hi Judah,
I'm so glad to hear that you are eating. Coco said that Trader Joes has lemon popsicles that are apparently really good and soothing, so that might be something worth trying.
Benji, thanks for all the blog updates - they are so descriptive and keep us all in the loop on Judah's progress. Now I'm waiting for Martha's digital pictures online!
Rina, I'll call you to set up a Pixie-sitting schedule!
Love,
Janet
